Our Children's Ministries Department, under the direction of David & Kim Ramsey, is an exciting place for children of all ages. At Calvary, we feel that children are vital, not only to our church of the future, but to the church today! There are many areas in which children can be involved: Beautiful and uniquely decorated Sunday School classes are available for children of all ages. You can view photos of our children's church here. Our quality staff of teachers are trained and equipped to teach and meet the needs of students. Our goal is that all students, by the age of 13, will have built a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and will have found their place in the body of Christ. Wednesday night, Calvary kids meet in a children's church setting, with high-energy songs, puppets, and evangelistic and maturing messages from God's Word that help children grow in their relationship with the Lord. Bus Ministry is made available for children and their family in our community who desire to come to church, but do not have the means of transportation to attend. Our children's choir sings once a month, bringing a unique style of worship to the Lord that only children can bring. Street RAGE (Reaching A Generation Effectively) brings children's church to the streets of Jonesboro, reaching into high-crime neighborhoods where the children live. This weekly program meets every Saturday at 6:00 at Cedar Heights with the goal of developing good character traits into the lives of children.  |
