Music Department

Our Music Department strives to provide a dynamic and anointed atmosphere for praise and worship to grow. Headed by  Ashley and Erica Tadlock, their team of talented musicians and singers lead us in praise. Children's Department

Our Children's Department is headed up by David and Kim Ramsey.  The Ramsey's and their team seek to provide a comprehensive, caring ministry to our children. Trained workers make sure they are loved, nurtured, and cared for while they have fun, make new friends, and learn more about God's love.  More Information.

Youth Department

 At Calvary our Youth is called Next. Next leaders Justin and Tara Frederick give young people the guidance and support they need to grow into God's plan for their life. In Proverbs 22:6 the Bible states "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." This is made evident by looking at the youth of Calvary.  They are a great group of kids who are changing their world for Jesus Christ.

Bible Quizzing

Bible Quizzing is a fantastic ministry to get the Word of God into young people's hearts. Not only is it one of the best things that a young person can do spiritually, but Bible quizzing can also be exciting, fun, competitive and enjoyable. There are very few other areas in which young people are able to socialize with so many other godly youth on a regular basis. It is a powerful ministry for the young people of Calvary. Each year several of the youth dedicate themselves to learning hundreds of verses from the Word of God. College and Career

Calvary UPC is located near the main Arkansas State University campus.  This affords us the opportunity to work with many college students.  Through the guidance of Jimmy and Elizabeth O'Neil, Calvary's College and Career group is able to help young adults find their calling within the kingdom of God.  This group is active in the leadership and ministries of Calvary.

Singles Ministry

Directed by Belinda Alsup, our singles ministry reaches out to the singles within our church and our city.  The Singles Ministry travel to conferences, have barbeque's, and many outreach meetings in order to bring people together and fellowship.  This ministry is a dynamic and active part of Calvary.

Calvary's Praisin' Puppets

Department of Information Technology

The IT department is responsible for facilitating and maintaining everything technology related at Calvary. This includes audio and video in the sanctuary, audio and video recording, lighting, web design, and any other miscellaneous technology related tasks.

Department of Ushers and Hostesses

The Department of Ushers and Hostesses seeks to provide an atmosphere of welcome and comfort when you walk in the door at Calvary.  They seek to emphasize our mission that "there is room at Calvary for everybody!".  The minute you walk in the door, you will be welcomed and greeted as if you were an old friend.
